Dua lipa is an English musician and singer born on August 22, 1995 in London United Kingdom. Dua Lipa signed to Warner Bros Records after a couple of years of work and put out a self-titled album in the year 2017. It climbed to the third position on the U.K. Chart for Albums. There were eight songs released including Be The Only I.D.G.A.F. and New Rules (UK number one). It also peaked at number 6 within the United States. Lipa won an award at the Brit Awards in the year 2018 for British Female Solo Artist, and British Breakthrough Act, and her album has been certified platinum in several countries worldwide. Dua Lipa was the daughter of Kosovo Albanian parents Anesa A Rexha Lipa and Dukagjin Dukagjin in London she was born on 22 August 1995. Her maternal grandmother is the reason she has Bosnian ancestry. Also, it is possible to locate her ancestral ancestors from the Kosovo city of Peja. Her grandfathers were historians as well. They have a brother Gjin Lipa, and a younger sister Rina. Lipa's father, the musician and lead singer from the Kosovan band Oda was a major influence on her music.
